The Grey Foundation Americas
The organization started as the American Friends of Grey Institute Foundation in the early 1990’s and following the launch of The Grey Foundation in South Africa, the Board of Trustees approved a name change in 2022 to align with the naming convention across the world.

The Grey Foundation Americas, Inc is a volunteer supported, non-profit organization established for the purpose of reconnecting with alumni, fostering the Americas Old Grey Community and providing financial support to the Grey schools in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. To this end, The Grey Foundation Americas, Inc is registered as a 501(c) (3) organization, registration number13-3796671, enabling US taxpayers to treat donations as charitable contributions for tax purposes. New York State registration number is 41-83-73.
The organization is governed by a US-based Board of Trustees comprising members of the Old Grey community residing in the Americas.
